SPECIFICATION:

[0001] In cold weather, a motorcycle/all-terrain vehicle (ATV) rider has to wear thick gloves to keep his/her hands warm. By doing so, the rider loses manual dexterity, comfort and is limited in the range of tasks the fingers can accomplish.

[0002] The Motorcycle & ATV Hand Warmers provide a protected area for the rider’s hands to slide into thereby allowing the rider to still wear a light-weight glove or none at all and maintain full view of all controls with the digital flexibility to maneuver the controls. A Hand Warmer attaches to each of the motorcycle / ATV handle bar grips and protects the hands from wind, rain, sleet and snow.

[0003] The Hand Warmers are usually made of heavy canvas fabric on the outside with varying options for softer fabrics on the inside in order to provide different degrees of warmth. The inside shape is triangular in order to cover the hands and deflect the wind and inclement weather. Velcro strips are used to attach the Hand Warmers to the motorcycle /ATV handle bars allowing the rider to adjust the tightness of fit as needed. Looking at the Hand Warmer from the outside, the shape looks rectangular with triangular ends. One triangular end is open and has the Velcro strips used to attach the Hand Warmer. The Hand Warmer has a flexible coated wire sewn into the rectangular side which maintains the shape of the Hand Warmer but still provides the flexibility to hold the Hand Warmer on the handlebars.

[0004] Once installed on the motorcycle /ATV handlebar, the rider sees a rectangular canvas shape approximately eleven inches wide and six inches tall with an opening for the rider’s hand that is approximately eight inches deep. Looking at the side view, the rider sees a canvas

triangular shape approximately six inches tall and eight inches wide. The wind is deflected over and under the rider’s hand when inside the Hand Warmer.

[0005] The Hand Warmers are easy to put on and take off of the handlebars. They are lightweight and compact for easy storage. Outside and inside fabrics can be customized to provide different levels of warmth and custom logos and images can be applied.
